Solvent Based Ceramic QD For Hydrophobic Coatings
A powerful quick detailer that is designed specifically for the maintenance of ceramic coated vehicles
What is it? Synergy QD was created after we identified a problem. Traditional water based detail sprays are commonly used as a quick top up for ceramic coatings. However as these coatings are naturally hydrophobic and resistant to almost everything applied to them, with these sprays being water based, we concluded that over 60% of the product was being wasted through the inability of it to bond to the surface.
What's it made from? Synergy QD is created from specialist solvents that are capable of wetting a hydrophobic surface. This allows the high Si02 content in this product, which is typically not found in a quick detailer, to fully adhere to the paintwork and provide maximum effect.
What are the features? You can expect incredible slickness from this product, it works on a molecular level and unlike other detail sprays we offer, this does not create an even coating over the surface, but rather it accumulates in the low spots in the ceramic coating. These can only be seen on a microscope, however, filling these in with Synergy QD dramatically alters the surface tension of the coating and allows you to wash the vehicle with almost no resistance at all. This in turn reduces the chance of marring your paintwork and keeps the vehicle looking its best for longer. It also assists with boosting hydrophobics and does very well on its own if applied to a car that isn't ceramic coated.
How does it fit into the wash process? Synergy QD is the quick detailer issued to professional Synergy installers. You should use it only on a clean and dry vehicle. Because it is solvent based it won't work as a waterless wash or quick wipe down on a dusty vehicle and you should only use it as an enhancement on clean paint. If you feel your ceramic coating is needing a little boost on the gloss front or some added slickness, this is the product for you.
